Death records are public domain, and for little ones, call the schools in the towns that you suspect and ask for the number to reach their teachers( don't contact, of course) and if you get a dead end then act like you called the wrong school, "aren't you over by the Mall?" and follow any trails, also churches have loose lips known as preachers and Sunday school teachers.

Do you know where your were born?
A list of your family records. Than
see if any of that info can be researched.
Were you adopted? Sometimes you
can obtain info from the organziation.
Be careful at times a family that doesn't
want the info given will not be released.
Don't give up. It will take time and you
need to be looking at almost anything
that may assist you.
