I resemble Him about the eyes. I share little of His wisdom and only some of His temper. We vacation on the same island in the Caribbean.

GOD(in arabic Allah), the Supreme and Eternal, Infinite and Mighty, Merciful and Compassionate, The Creator and The Provider, He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none equal or comparable unto Him.
Islam is the only religion which recognizes and believes that all the prophets brought the same essential message This message was, still and will be the belief in and submission to ONE God (the Creator and the Sustainer of all things, the Exalted and the Redeemer of all things. The word Islam itself means "submission and surrendering" to God
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Islam is the only religion which teaches the existence of a PERFECT God. A perfect God means that there is no sharer in His Nature and His Attributes:
"Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; and there is none like unto Him." (Holy Qur'an, 112:1-4)

The Bible says that man is made in God's image, so man is. Jesus says that whatever you do to the least of us (prisoners, the weak, the sick, the fallen) you do to him, so they are like him (or he is like them).
The symbol for Buddha is a lotus blossom, because it is beauty and perfection created from black water and putrid mud, so the lotus is like God.
Hinduism has tens of thousands of gods, that are really only the manifestation of three, that are really different expressions of one. So the myriad ways we see God are like God.
Islam says that God is unknowable to us while we live on Earth, that He is so completely different from anything we can understand that it would be blasphemy to try to portray him or put words into his mouth. So he is like nothing we can understand.
The Deists (Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, et al) of the Enlightenment believed that God was like a blind watchmaker who created something but then was content to let it function unhindered.
Hope that helps. Peace.

None of us is exactly like God, as he is perfect in every way. I think that the more you show love to others, even your enemies, the more you become like God. Great question!!!

We all are.
If we are created in his image and God is everything, then that would mean that we all share aspects of God-- the good and the bad. God must know what it is like to be evil and selfish and any negative aspect of humanity and have experienced it. On the flipside, he also knows and experiences love and forgiveness-- all of the positve aspects of humanity. If you could combine every aspect and experience of every person who has ever and will ever live, then this would start to come close to what God is like.

The rabbit on the Trix box.
GI Joe.
Harry Potter.
The bogeyman.
The Prophet Abraham.
All of these share one very important quality with God - that of being figments of the imagination.

Why are you asking this? To justify your faith and advertise it?
Faith, if it must be supported by the "atta boy!" posts of others, isn't that strong. And if your god needs people to advertise for him, then he's not much of a god.
