my daughter had a trip for me for my 70 th birthday to disney and a florida cruise but because of ilness i was not able to finish the trip and had to come back to canada can she get some of her money back from this trip or is it a scam to get people to spend there money and not get it back

If you had travel insurance and did not get on the cruise, then technically yes you could. It sounds like you partook in the cruise though. You can't get reimbursed if you did that I don't think.
If you bought trip insurance check your policy.

You cant get the money back because you were sick. And its not a scam. I have never heard such a silly question before. Its not their fault you got sick. Your daughter is screwed out of the money. Oh well!!

Sorry, you are out of luck unless you had insurance. But dont feel bad because they didnt make any extra money on you.
