I prefer no hair for myself. Nothing to do with cleanliness (in fact I believe the reason we have hair in the first place is partly to prevent smells escaping! Gross but true) I just prefer the way it looks and feels and my husband prefers it too.
However, I'd never shave - the itching is just awful (only made that mistake once ha ha) I prefer to use other hair removing methods ;-)

Im a male and I keep my pubic hair shortly trimmed, definetly much better, shaving can cause irriatation and worse ingrown hairs which will cause and infection. I can see why a female would shave but a male should trim not shave.

It's actually there for a reason. Shaving there can increase your risk of infection. No harm in keeping it tidy, but its not strictly necessary to shave all your pubic hair off.

I dont shave! i trim! having a trim is easier and doesnt itch like hell. theres no worrying about cutting yourself and its quicker. i think everyone should at least trim, people shouldnt have to shave it! theres hair down there for a reason! keep it neat, thats the best!

Shaving it for fun, for sexiness, because you just like it that way are all cool reasons. I think you can keep it clean without shaving, however. I agree with many who believe it is good for better access to the area during f*****o and c********s. I like to keep it trimmed and combed. It works better for job interviews also. LOL

hair or no hair has nothing to do with being clean. It's only appearance, and I sometimes shave but more often than not I dont bother

Most women prefer neatly trimmed for men. Waxing or trimming is the preference for most women. Shaving creates itching, nicks and stubble.

I do, but not for cleanliness; if cleanliness is an issue for you, maybe you should wash more? I do it for aesthetic reasons. I mean, come on, it IS bikini season!

u dont need to shave ur pubes for cleanliness lmao. i have pubes and im perfectly clean; u just need to clean ur crotch once inna while u nasty mofo. and to everyone who shaves their crotch : thats all fine now but it will be funny as hell when u get to be about 60 yrs old and ur happy place looks like the amazon jungle cuz ur pubes r so overgrown from shaving
