My 1st language is English, and I also speak Spanish fairly well.Spanish was easy for me to learn.Someone told me that learning a 3rd language is the most difficult.Maybe that's why~or maybe because I am 40,w/4 kids and so many distractions, etc.

the more languages you learn the harder it gets. i know 5 now. thinking about a 6th but they do get harder with each additional one you learn. also sometimes you will start saying something in one language and finish in another, or at least i do that when i finish translating and go to another conversation. i forget which language i am using. good luck. and try to use it every day. when you are alone or reading a book or something translate as much as you can while reading it. the more you use it the easier it will be

I'm Italian and Italian language is the same in all Italy..dialects are another thing, are a particular language of a region(but it is not considered Italian..)...
maybe are the 4 kids, but i think that Italian isn't too much different to understand (not to write) if compared with Spanish. i never studied Spanish, i don't understand if is wrote but I've been in Barcelona, i spoke in Italian and they understood me and i understood them..
