Do a System Restore.
1. Start->All Programs->Accessories->System Tools->System Restore
2. Select the date of the point where you want to restore your system from the dates displayed.
CAUTION: You will lose any program or application you have installed into the computer system after that date where you will restore it. Not the data documents and others, though.

If you have XP. Use system restor to whatever date you want it restored to.

on winxp the answer is system restore, on earlier win not sure without any aditional program
