my point exactly. I think we are guilty of that as well in some ways. Not right and certainly we all need to work on that.
Thanks for the reminder in ways to improve myself even as a Christian.

I agree... People are so quick to deny his existence until something earth shattering happens to them and then it's "why did you let this happen to me God?" Either way it doesn't matter. We are trying so hard to do our Christian Duty and get the word out to all of the nonbelievers before it's too late. Whether they have chosen to listen or not is up to them. It is so hard to explain to the faithless ones that Good and bad things that happen are not always God. Sure God will punish his children to get his word across and to teach us a lesson, but there are always the bad forces of this world that work against Good people. The Christian Faith is constantly tried and put to the test. "A Christians life is like a bed of roses, thorns and all." As Christians we know more tribulation then most others because Satan always attacks God's people to try and break us down. But God allows these things to happen to see how true we will stand. And yes, We will all die. You and I could Die right now and believers and nonbelievers will not go to the same place. Good question...........God Bless

Believing in god alone will not take you to the heaven. What you do here to help others out of pain and suffering stands a better chance at a place in heaven.

I think God gave us a brain (just because we often choose to ignore it) to think and act for ourselves. If He were really to blame or take credit for every thing that happens on earth, He would not let us have waged countless wars over the millinimums. We are responsible for our actions here on earth and we can choose to try and do the right thing or to be jerks -- it's up to us, not God.

I think that many people fear to take responsibilities and blame theirselves for bad situations. It comfort us to say to ourselves that someone else is responsible. Ok, sometimes this is true.. for example doctor's mistakes that take away someone's life. But also when a good think happens...someone else may caused it to happen, not us. Anyway...it's good always to know what our responsibilities are...even a bad or a good thing happens. I turn to God usually when I want help...I don't blame God..I also thank God for the good thinks that happened to me. Respect yourself and others!

Happens all the time. We take it for granted if we have healthy children, but if one is ill we blame God for it. We don't know the big picture, and life is hard, but its only temporary. Maybe someday we will see the big picture and then possibly understand why bad things happen.

Matthew 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
Mark 10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
People only wnat to blame God when things go wrong in their life. But how many people actually praise God every morning for being blessed with a brand new day?

Good points all.
We forget that what we perceive as bad may not always be so. We have no knowledge of God's ultimate plan for us and others ---and good is the ultimate will of God. We need to learn to trust God in all things and all ways.

seems the other way around to me. when something good happens folks praise Jesus even tho Jesus had nothing to do with a house being built for them or medical science saving their child's life. when something bad happens like a hurricane or AIDS religious folks blame the victims ... "the wrath of God" and all that.

WHY BLAME THE GOD.HAS ANYBODY SEEM HIM/HER?
BUT THERE IS SOME POWER THAT IS THERE .AS PER THE LAW OF NATURE AFTER EVERY MORNING THERE IS NIGHT,AND ANY THING THAT WE THROW UP IT COME DOWN.BUT THEN DO WE BLAME GOD FOR BRINGING DOWN THE BALL. WE HAVE DONE THE JOB AND SO ARE WE RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR DEEDS.ONLY COWARDS PUT BLAMES ON OTHER.AND GOD IS THE EASIEST TARGET AS HE IS NOT GOING TO SPEAK.
