C'mon all you so called boxing fans who answered b-4 me she said Chavez Jr. pay attention White is older than Chavez Jr . White is 24 Chavez is 20 , I guess you all thought she was talking about Chavez Sr. DUH !!! well anyway to answer your question I think this fight is a toss-up even though Chavez has a better record than White he has not looked to impressive in his last few fights and he is not been fighting that great of competition , he is 20 yrs old now and he is not making the progress that they thought he would , I would love to see him do great things like his father but right now he is not half the man his father was in the ring , only time will tell , he really needs to step it up at this age he should already be in line for one of the smaller title belts , and he is not close yet.

The great thing about boxing is that just about anything can happen. I guess that is why we have to watch the fight. Boxing is full of stories of the underdog overcoming the odds and defeating the favorite.

My husband got me into boxing. He had me read an old Playboy magazine article he had saved from many years ago in which the writer made the case for the "most difficult sport". After reviewing several, including american football, the writer made the case for boxing as the most difficult sport. The deal breaker was the fact that boxing is frought with danger and the courage it takes just to step into the ring says a lot about an athlete. The writer also reasoned that a boxer fights alone and in the end, it is courage and heart that enables him to overcome. A boxer enters the ring certain that he is going to have to absorb some degree of punishment. No other sport offers that certainty.

Ever since reading that article, I have been a boxing fan. I will be watching.

He's a lot younger, but less experienced. More possible for Chavez to win by points.
