I got a really dark turkey tan because I used to be really white. And I just hated it. But I feel much more comfortable being "black". Plus I bleached my hair, it used to be black. So two days ago, me and my female friend were hosting a birthday party and the girls wanted to have a "makeover" and we put make up on them, and my step brother who happens to be black wanted us to fix his unibrow but we kinda went overboeard and I ended up bleaching his hair beach blonde and he did not like it all! I feel so bad, because I know he doesn't like it and when I offered to dye his hair black again he kicked me in the nuts. He starts school tommorrow by the way, and our parents are coming next monday.

OK that was very mean of you and your friends to do something like this and you deserved the kick in the nuts....who wants to go to school w/blonde hair especially if your black and your a boy how embarrassing is that.....you should offer to take him to a salon or something one that is open on a Sunday...have them dye his hair our something and by the way grow up-yall purposely did that....

I think that you did hurt his feelings, and it will be pretty bad if he really starts school with blonde hair.
There is a difference, the difference being that you can choose to have dark skin by tanning it, whereas he has no other choice than to live with it. I would over him to shave his head bald--this way he doesn't have to subject himself to possible ridicules in school, because dying his hair again would most likely cause it to break off.

I think if you explain your parents how it went at the birthday party, they will see that you did not commit a malicious act but that you rather went overboard thoughtlessly...so talk to your brother, see if he agrees to get his head shaved, if he doesn't want you to do it, maybe you can pay for it to be done at a barbershop....Good Luck

It sounds like you have a lot of growing up to do. Of course it was wrong to do something to him that is going to humiliate him. You should work on yourself if you want to make a spectacle of someone but it's not right to put others in on your mysery........... and you should never apply chemicals to a child without consent from their parents. What if your babysitter molested you when you were small, it's just the same kind of cruel gestures to take advantage of people that are smaller than you.............. You sound like someone yearning for attention. Just be yourself. You also sound like a follower instead of a leader, really naive, like people can talk you into things and like you do things to try to fit in and get people to like you. Why don't you just be yourself and love what God has blessed you with, stop trying to change yourself.................

how mean. and i don't really get the whole why you tanned yourself "black" but its your body. but i suggest you tell your brother that either he can let you fix his hair or hes going to school Monday looking like something he hates.

You should leave your brother's kid alone. Bleach is for laundry, which is what you SHOULD be doing...
