The hair at the nape of my neck is only about an inch and a half long. I went to a salon and the extension specialist said he wouldn't put them in because my hair is too short

He should look up the word extension.......... it means he would make the hair longer, you know, to extend the hair. And he is the extension specialist, yeah................... anyway, find someone who knows what they are talking about to give you your extensions, sometimes these big salons just give titles to people and they really don't have a clue!!! Maybe he couldn't give you what you wanted because he just couldn't do it. I know people who get extensions and their hair is like 1/2 to 1 inch all over....... some are movie stars that we know and love. He should have had the courage to say that the hair was too short for him to work with which is understandable for guys because some of them have larger hands than us ladies......... I can grasp much shorter hair because I have smaller hands............

My friend had hers done and her hair was like 2 inches long! She had very very short hair and it turned out looking great. But she did the infusion method which is strand by strand instead of the sewn on kind. It cost $350 in Atlanta. You can call the lady at 770.783.2071.

If he says they're too short, well, they're too short! Sorry but you're just gunna have to wait for your hair to grow out. And if you really want natural looking hair, don't get extensions! They're sewn directly into the hair and the get dry and frizzy and give an unhealthy, unatural look. Don't get extensions!
