Two tablespoons are in every ounce. There are 16 onces in a pound. 2x16=32. So use 32 tablespoons of butter. Or just buy a pound bucket of butter and put in the whole thing.

According to the wrappers, there's 8 tablespoons in on cube. the box says it has 4 quarters. Half a pound would be 2 cubes. So 1/4 pound/1/2 cup would be one cube. make sure, though, that your butter or margarine is pasteruzed grade aa.
