it hasn't happened to me but i've been told that it's drying and bad for your hair from several hair stylists.

I used to use Panteen until I found out that it was making me loose my hair. I am female and just figured it was growing old, I changed shampoos and now my hair stays in my head. It did cause build up & my hair NEVER looked like the models you see in the ads.

Shampoos and conditioners leave residue on the hair after several uses. You should use a Clarifying Shampoo, such as Pantene's Clarifying Shampoo 1-2x a month to remove residue which can make hair heavy. I like shampoo because it leaves your hair weightless which allows your hair to have more movement. After the 1st use, you will see and feel a noticeable difference.

every shampoo gives you build-up...every 3 months to fix this problem, just switch to a different brand of Shampoo. Or you can buy shampoos that are Clean, they help to remove the build-up.

you really need to throw that shampoo away! my mom was gonna use pantene until she asked her stylist about it. she said that it puts a wax on your hair .. which is not good. it will work good for the first couple of days but after that it ruins your hair! it does not build-up your hair it builds-down your hair. you will begin to lose shape and the texture of your hair will begin to feel like straw! discusting, i know. it will also make the color of your hair fade out or become dull. PLEASE don't ever use anything pantene EVER again. so my moms stylist uses john freida on her hair. i love her hair so much! it works really great! don't believe the pantene commercial! their hair is computerised! i am 14 and i use herbal essences .. it smells so good .. and i sometimes use john frieda. if u want your hair to end up wack .. use pantene. but if you want your hair to smell great use herbal essences .. and if you want your hair to be healthy and look great, use john frieda. hope this helped! : )
