If you have faith in God, and His teachings, you want to share with others the peace and, yes, convictions you feel against sin. When you look at the world's suffering through sin, it does grieve the Spirit within you, and although you see sin around you, you don't partake, and you don't concentrate on the things of this world, but that of your Father.
But if you don't have a relationship with God, you are cut through, up-rooted and wiped out. You don't have any truths to adhere to, and your concentration is not that of your Father's through Jesus Christ, but your faith and concentration is that of the world.

Simply said. If you can know yourself and know that others are themselves and there is nothing you can or should do about it then you will be happier with yourself.

Know yourself and take what others do as gifts of them letting you know who they are.
