Hi i replied to your last question,in the uk we dont have to pay at all to have your wisdom teeth out,all depends where really in the NHS hospital its free but you will have to stay in all depending on the roots i mentioned before, the dentist if your on benefits its also free, so ist off all you need to find out if its going to be done in the hospital or at the dentish.I do recommend you have this procedure done thou as later on in life they will cause you alot off problems and pain.Good Luck

Since the 1st April this years all the dental fees have changed.Dentists used to be payed a fee per item which ment there where hundreds of fees, you would pay 80% and the NHS would pay the other 20%. Now there are three fees.
£15.50- for check ups, cleaning and xrays.
£42.40- for fillings including root treatment and extractions.
£189.00- for crowns,bridges and dentures.
It makes no difference if you need 1 or 4 wisdom teeth out, you will still only pay £42.40 and that's with xrays if needed. The only problem with wisdom teeth is if they have erupted through the gum at a difficult angle you might need to be refered to an oral surgeon who specialises in this field. If you get refered to a hospital the is usually a long waiting list , clinics are quicker but I'm not sure if theres another fee you have to pay, if you do it wont be much, there is no reason what so ever (if its straight forward) why you dentist cant extract them for you. Good luck. You can email me if you have anymore questions regarding this. I would be pleased to help.

thats right unless you are on a low income in which case its freeeee !!!! Im a mature student and dont pay a penny. If someone is pregnant or has a child under 12 months they dont pay (no matter how much they earn). If you are unemployed its free.
