Don, I've read your questions history & you seem to have a morbid fascination with gay people. I also noticed that you keep mentioning this "friend" of yours who likes to wear women's clothing.

I suspect that you may be suffering from a bit of self-loathing & internalized homophobia here, Don.

Why do gay people get your panties in a bunch so much?

Sad but true story:
A friend's church was advertising for a new keyboard player. The pastor interviewed several, having each play songs that he randomly picked from the hymnal.
A gentleman arrived, with great credentials from several "big" churches, and when asked to play, played each song perfectly , and played several solos that were totally spectacular. The pastor was ready to hire him on the spot. The guy asked if there would be a problem with him being a "practicing homosexual". The pastor basically told him that he not only didn't have the job but he needed to repent of his lifestyle. The guy left yelling "You're making a big mistake. I have a following. My friends and I have been looking for a church where we all could be accepted". So, it appears that there would have been more than one "practicing homosexual" in the congregation.
The bottom line is that the church would have been in turmoil afterward. As my friend told me, "I wouldn't be able to trust them around my boys, and other's felt the same way". That worry, with or without true merit would have divided the church and a foundation divided amongst itself cannot stand.

The real whynotaskdon is currently at level 6, I saw him there while checking out the Leaderboard.

Btw, I say let the sodomites become church members if they want, not even the pastor can cast the first stone.

The church Pastor is suppose to lead the people in the word of God. They are to be aware of the things that go on among their church members. If they allowed their members to attend services and those members continue on their deliberate sinful lifestyles such as homosexual or adultery etc That preacher is not obeying the word of God. That pastor must officially evict, those members from that church. Prasie the Lord!!

It happened in Tennessee. A pastor was aware of 2 of his members that were both married to other people, but were having an afair with each other. He counciled both of them, and told them that the afair needed to stop. They did not comply, and the pastor evicted both of those people in front of his church. Prasie the Lord!!

How would you enforce that rule? People in opposite-sex relationships can be "sodomites" too, unless you're just using that as a term for gay people. It seems like a weird question to ask the new members class. Christians have bigger issues to be angry about.

The CHURCH is the Body of Christ.
You cannot become a Member of this Church untill you get Born-Again.
Anybody who is LOST is not part of The CHURCH.
LOST People should hang around the Assembling's and Gathering's of The CHURCH----it's the Only Source of LIFE-----Spiritual Life---out of their Belly's will flow River's of Living Water's.
Lost People get SAVED hanging around The CHURCH's Gathering's and Assembling's.

Where two or more are Gathered in MY NAME, there I (JESUS) will be----now do you think that when The CHURCH Gather's in HIS NAME (two Born-Again People, seven Born-Again People etc.) a Lost Person could get SAVED?

Go ye into all the World----------Ditto..........

My church ABSOLUTELY allows them. I am the Pastor. I am a sodomite and invite ALL sodomites to gather at MY church. It is located in Sodom's Hill, South Dakota. 4666 Bunghole Lane. It is on an OLD DIRT ROAD right after you pass HERSHEY HIGHWAY. a man sells CHOCOLATE COVERED peanuts and corn on the corner. he sits on his own STOOL. He will always bend over and crack a smile as you pass by. he hates all enemies but loves all enema's.

First, how would you know they were sodomites unless they told you?

The more compassionate thing to do would be to embrace them rather than shun them. Show kindness to everyone no matter what they do without passing judgement, leave the rest to god.

A group should allow all sinners to be a part of the group. The goal is to repent of sin. If someone in the group brags about homosexual activity, or adultery, or stealing, or killing, they probably don't belong in a Christian group.

Does your church allow sinners as members? Um yeah, it does, cuz we're all sinners. I'm sure there are people who have problems with anger, or gambling, or drinking at your church as well, shall we ban them? Uhh, no. We love them.
