Oracle 8i has the following users with their default passwords:
Sys and Sysem with manager as password
scott with tiger as password

I gave ash my password once at the same time as her account wasn't operating. She requested one question, that did not put up, and that i have been given a contravention for it.....yet do not problem, i'm a miles more effective acceptable chum than she is.

Are you asking for Sys and System users :
Sys - change_on_install
sqlplus "sys/change_on_install as sysdba"
System :
sqlplus "system/manager@CONNECTIDENTIFIER"
If you have done a Standard Installation , you would also have a HR user with password HR .
It is recommended that you change the password of Sys and System for Security Reasons . I hope that this satisfies your Question ,
