To peel garlic fast, put the garlic cloves in the microwave for 15 seconds and the skins will slip off with ease with a paring knife or your fingers.
Another way to peal garlic fast and easy is to hit the clove hard with the flat side of large knife or you can hit it on the counter hard. This will split the garlic head and make removing the skin easy with your fingers. Also try rubbing them on the table.

take the flat side of a chefs knife and lay it down over the garlic and hit the knife. it pops the skin right off
You can also set you clove in the microwave for a few seconds to steam the skin a bit. it should just peel right off

Yep. Put the garlic clove on a cutting board and take the heavy end of a chef knife (flat side) and BAM!
It works really well.

I do it the same way as Lynn does by smashing it slightly with the back side of the knife. The skin really does come off easily. I do a bunch and store it in a closed jar in the fridge.

Go to a good kitchen store. They have a rubber mat that you rub over them that take the skin off.
