It's a little late now. If you really mean it then just decide.

You don't use 90% of your brain. If you write a positive affirmation like "I don't smoke and I feel great." Put in on a 3x5 card and read it to yourself at least 50 times everytime you want to light-up, it might help. The unused 90% of your brain, might persuade the 10% that is driving the urge to let up a little.

I smoked for 30 years and quit cold turkey a year and a half ago when I just decided that I wanted to live long enough to see a cure for old age. I plan to see my great, great grandchildren. If having surgery isn't enough incentive to quit then think about this.

Who exactly is in charge of your life, you or a cigarette. It's pretty demeaning to consider an object runs your life.

Also, start eating pineapple now if you can get it. Eat fresh, canned, juice whatever you can get. There is an enzyme in pineapple that makes you heal very fast. I don't know why it works but it does. An old healing woman from the ozarks made me do that for a surgery I had 25 years ago and ever since I've used it. It was amazing. Eat pineapple before the surgery and after the surgery unless you're allergic or your doctor can give you a "very good" reason not to.

Make yourself busy..
Housecleaning
Chewing gums

Im also smoker, but when I was pregnant i stopped smoking and think that it is bad for the baby..But now, had my child..

back to smoking, but had a clear lungs, no other effects..
Im not a passive smoker, nor a chain smoker..
having 6 cigars or less is ok with me in a day..

Had a true story to tell you

Mom is also a smoker, had her goiter..wayback couple of years
the doctor told her a week ago to stop smoking..and when she was in the hospital scheduled for an operation, she smokes at the comfort room before the operation..

And after that...She says it was really painful..
The goiter gone, and so her smoking..

You should think about it..

Goodluck

There really is no hope for you. You can't follow directions (couldn't take your birth control pills correctly), don't give a hoot for anyone but yourself (you smoked while pregnant and even now in front of your baby) Have no morals (not married) You will never rise above your low life and unfortunately neither will your daughter. Now prove me wrong.

I had a kidney transplant last year, but before they would even put me on the list I had to quit smoking,Wal-Mart sells patches called Equate they worked for me but you have to stick with it do the whole program and "DO NOT" smoke if you are wearing a patch!

Only you can do the action. For myself, I chewed gums, sucked on cinnamon jawbreakers and just kept busy with housecleaning. I'm now smokefree over 4 years, and my house is still messy!

sorry,
no one can help you do that except yourself.
you can request a patch in the hospital.
That will help more than you think, because
you will be in a situation where you absolutly can't smoke.
and with the patch and the other stuff they give you for pain
and all , it is not going to be too bad.
trust me: been there.
