Ask him how he feels about you first and ask if he sees you as more than a friend. If he gives any clue that he may be interested, at least a tiny bit, then he likes you. I'd tell him that I want a relationship after that. If you get rejected and still wanna be friends, then tell him that there are no hard feelings and to go on like normal. If you get hurt and don't want to be friends with him because you wanna hook up, then say the friendships over. I

well i talk to boys all the time so hears a few pointers
1)ask some of your friends to introduce you to some of there guy friends and have them include u in activities and conversations(they should be willing to help)
2)map out the conversation in your head before going over to them and try not to chicken out
3)think of topicts to talk about in the conversation b4 telling him if ure gonna
a)sports
b)homework
c)how mean or harsh teachers are
d)ask if u can borrow his notes becuz u totally spaced
(ure teacher can sometimes be really be boreing)
e)scary movies or just plain movies
f)songs
g)music videos
oh and dont get all girlish and googly eyed around them
most inportantly just be yourself and have fun see where it takes
also u dont have to tell him theres also ure friendship to consider just let him know ure there 4 him always always

these things do happen. but are u really sure u are in love or u just want to have sex with the guy? well we guys are really horrible if a girl teals us she like u them we fool around with her and mess her life up.
he is ur best friend u should share stuff wit him. just let him know how u feel indirectly and see how he behaves coz if u give urself to him completly then get set for the worse...

You said yourself he is yuor BEST FRIEND and obviously you have the same in common if he is your best friend then you should be free to say anything you like. Its gonna hurt you more the day someone comes to you and says "Hey ah can i have you best friend's no. i think he is really cure and would not mind going out with him" and then you will be rushed to face reality.
Just do it it won't hurt either one of you at least it gets the hidden secrecy out of the way.

if he is ur best friend u should beable to tell him anything but ask urself is being with him worth losing the friend ship if everything goes wrong but also ask the benafits of being with him scale the good with the bad which has more going for it or opposing it theres ur answer
