what are some of the most important things to consider when moving to a new city where you will live long term and raise children and someday buy a home...and what would be good internet resources to find that information?

Ask if its a tornado area or flooding just how safe it is. and if you have the money buy a motor home ,it saves on motels and the cost of food and gives your family something to enjoy later on , remember you need a place to stay while your new home is waiting to close,some take up to a month,

U said it will be for long term purpose? Then look for a place that will be conducive to bring up children especially a place where its more lucrative to dwell.
