Does anyone know a good database program? One that does not require any special programming knowledge? I would like to be able to enter the data, and then print customized reports. If anyone knows of the old database program "File Express 6" I would love to be able to use something like that.

I have Windows XP Home Edition.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

You can use OPen Office.org office suite, which has a databse application much like that of Microsoft's "access" database application.

it's a large download, but it's also an entire office suite that's free and open source.

In my opinion, only huge businesses need Access. I use Excel to track about 500 records. If you don't have it, the student edition of Office 2003 (which contains Word and Excel) is on sale. Check out www.bizrate.com for a list of retailers and their prices.

I would spend a little time learning Access...it is a powerful program.
