Well no.. I do believe that there are people out there that would rape anyone regardless of how they are dressed. However I do feel that some women dress too provacatively thus giving unintentional invitations of such to occur, in individuals that have a problem of raping or wanting to rape or mistaking the dress or lack of, as an invitation. I feel that if a woman dresses in the aspect of leaving little room for the imagination, she is at risk. I disagree with the dress code that many young women that is so tightly worn it shows every crease crevice they have. It shows their butt cheeks when they bend over from the top and the bottom and the thong is visible, the cleavage is exposed therefore leaving little if any room for the imagination. I know of young girls that are frustrated with the looks they get from men while walking on the sidewalks, but they wear this for one reason or the other. One is to get attention or two is because everyone else is doing it. BUT. regardless of how they dress.. it is not a reason to be raped. Most studies show that rape cases are based on control. I personally do not dress prevocatively, but that does not make me less of a victim if the rapist wants me.

A Man does not have the right to rape a woman even if she's dressed inappropriately. Let me bring another fact to your attention, sometime ago in my country a woman was raped and she was a elderly lady, the guy was in his 20's. Rape has nothing to do with dress but the person's mind who is committing such an act, it's just sick. Death is the correct punishment for rape.

No. You may be responsible for opening the door, or trusting someone, but that doesn't mean that the assault had anything to do with the victim. If you're being raped, you're stripped of all consent. How can a woman be responsible for a man jumping on top of her and possibly killing her? If they wanted it to happen, it wouldn't be rape.
The dress or lack of dress issue is just an excuse. There is NO excuse. If men are animals, then let's damn well treat them like them and lock them up. If they're human, then hold them accountable for ALL actions. You can't have it both ways. We have minds, and we are above violence. Any man or woman who engages in such violence is worthless, and there is no excuse for their behavior.

Here is the same question asked a different way. If you take your car to a bad part of town, park it and get out with the engine running and leave the doors unlocked, then walk away....will it still be there when you get back? Women in this country think they should be able to walk around half nude and still be safe from predators that stalk our society. Only a fool would do something like the question I just asked, but women can't seem to make the correlation about things like this.

it is never a woman's fault , women can wear anything she wants too, it doesn't give anyone the right to rape her, just because she is showing a little bit of thigh,or breast , i mean do you go to the beach she a girl in a g string (thong) and top , and have the right to rape her just because she looks sexy ? NO even if a female is acting all friendly to you doesn't mean ,hay I'm going to let you stick your penis in me does it ? NO! get a grip on your self even some of these religion that claim it is right to do such acts to women are wrong to, these women don't follow they religious beliefs so why should they pay the penalty, if i came ac cross another F#$@^N A#@ehole Ra pest i will gladly beat them as i did before

No.No woman ever deserves to be raped agaianst her will.just because they want to wear clothing that shows their body off does not give anyone the right to force her into something she doesn't want.I really hope that one day a rapist ends up with aids or something from raping a woman and see how they cope with the fear of dying a very ugly death.i think all women should be allowed to carry the virus for aids in a syringe in their bags or somewhere on their body so in the event of an attack they can use it to teach the offender that rape is not ok.I really think that all and men should be allowed to dress the way they feel comfortable without the fear of anyone trying to hurt them.

well i would not say that women are responsible for a large no of rape , as static shows kids are often raped, a rapiest usually does not care who he rapes as long as he gets his gratifaction, some times older women too who are not sexily dressed are raped as well, it is natural to want to attract the opposite sex but one should know where to draw the line you can look very sexy without revealing too much,, i guessed most rapiest are turned on with scanty clothing but he more often does not rape the one who turns him on he just goes for the easiest target and pick up some one

I would not say that women deserved to be raped, but it is logical that if someone is dressed in a very provocative manner she is going to attract uninvited attention.
