anyone who study marketing understand that by advertising a product then it needs to have an image. warm image, love image, healthy image...etc

and Hollywood, media and politics game have succeeded to brainwashed people and draw an "evil image" toward Islam and Muslims, to the limit that when people see a Muslim they think of terrorism. truly the world is not a fair place. God knows best, and God help the Muslims in those hard times.

True, marketing creates images to sell, whether the image is sex (always a big seller), clout (buy this and you'll be important), power, happiness, whatever. "Buy this and you'll be sexy/powerful/have clout/whatever." That's the message given in order to sell.

The media has created a very nasty image of Islam. Drama sells, especially bad drama, so the media reports the bad drama of Islam. The media is partly responsible for the negative image of Islam, but unfortunately, the terrorists carry the biggest guilt of this. They say they fight in the name of Allah. How awful, they are plastering a horrific (and false) image of Islam, and making it hard for the majority of Muslims, who are normal and peaceful.

When non-Muslims see and hear this, of course they will take it as authentic Islam. That is, if they don't do their homework first, instead of relying upon only the media to teach Islam. Lazy study method.

The media has succeeded partly, because not all non-Muslims believe the bull they sling. In fact, many of us realize the wisdom in the addage, "Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see."

Are KKK members true Christians? Of course not, Christianity is for everyone, regardless of race. They are the absolute examples to look at. Same with terrorists. Are they Muslims? No, they are not, because they PERVERT Islam and their perversions are believed by non-Muslims.

I wish people would do their homework instead of taking the media's stories and calling that the gospel truth. Independent study is the best way to learn about anything, including Islam.

Its not the media who have given Islam a bad name, its people like Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda and terrorists who target innocent civilians and justify their doings in the name of Islam, this is what makes Hollywood see us Muslims in a bad light. I dont blame anyone for thinking Muslims are bad because terrorists preach Islam and kill, these people dont even care if they kill Muslims either, they act like there were no Muslims in the World Trade Centre and there were no Muslims on the 10 flights they wanted to blow up! There are Muslims all over the place and these terrorists dont give a damn bout fellow Muslims when caring about a fellow Muslim is preached throughout the Quran, these people do not properly read the Quran, they interpret it into whatever suits their needs not knowing that theyre gonna be the ones frying in hell, they say Christians and Jews are going to hell, while in Islam a Christian or Jew who does good deeds for humanity earns a place in heaven, Muslims who do bad deeds go to hell and Osama and his damn followers are going there for ruining the image of Islam!

Like many religions the fanatics have ruined it for the rest. That goes for Christianity as well as Islam. The media does tend to report only the bad, but any intelligent person will not draw conclusions about any religion based on what the media has to offer. That said I am against all organized religions, as soon as people get power they abuse it and all religous leaders have power. Also once poeple get power they will do almost anything to keep it, and all religions have this same problem, thus people should worship at home in their own way.

It is not right that it has to be this way. But it is. Most people don't know how to think for themselves (obviously you do though) and they let the media fill them up with this hate. Most of the media outlets (hollywood, cnn, etc.) are owned by Jews so of course they will show Muslims in a bad light.
