ok, I was flooded out along w/my mom (Lake county OH). We live in a condo. Everyone else was flooded out just as bad as us and many of our neighbors got $ ($4,000 to $6,000) to re-build. Our cash in-come is the same as our next door neighbor, it's me and my mom w/the same income as her, and she lives alone, yet she got help and we didn't. I don't mean to sound like I'm begging for $ from the gov, but my family has payed into the system for 40+ yrs and we've never cashed in- NEVER. Now when we need to, we can't....can somebody explain this to me????

ok ppl, I LIVE IN OH- I'm not a part of those who were affected by Katrina. And I'm living w/my aunt, useing her lap top. Some ppl are still in shelters.....and no, we're not stealing food from dogs *rolls eyes*

Hey blue-eyes I feel your pain. I live and work on the Mississippi gulf coast. I talk to many people, who, almost a year after Katrina, have recieved no help. I wish I had an answer but I don't Good luck

I was watching QVC, and a 60'' Plasma tv was up.
The seller said, where are yo uhanging your plasma tv in your house. The caller replied "I dont have a house". The lady who called in then said "Katrina took everythign I had, QVC gave it all back..."
I hope you have found housing. Katrina is old hat if your looking for charity. Hope you havent been walking around the debris of your home, sleeping on some overturned car or something.
Hope you havent been stealing food from homeless dogs who managed to survive the critter holocaust of katrina.
Anyways, good to see you have WiFi there. Lack of internet would be a disaster for your "Digital Lifestyle"

The graft and corruption in New Orleans (Democrat Stronghold) wasted billions of dollars that was sent for helping the people.
Millions of dollars ended up in the pockets of Democrat Politicians.
It is TRAGIC!
