I didn't have this side effect, but I did have others and it wasn't until about 8 days past that I really felt confident that nothing had gone wrong.

I have to say, 6 months on, it was one of the best decisions of my life. I had it done in India (I am from the UK) and saved a fortune!!

If I were you, I would contact your surgeon when you can to run the symptoms by him/her but I would not worry too much about it in the meantime. Think of the perfect vision that awaits!

Many people experience dry eye after having surgery - which can cause your eyes to water a lot (I know it sounds contradictory). Whoever handled your pre-op and post-op care would be the person for you to contact about your side effects.

I never experienced such an effect. I can see no reason for blockage of the tear duct from such surgery.
