Ok... so have you ever had that sort of empty feeling, where all you want to do is lay there and cry. Well i just got back from vacation.... and i have that feeling... it almost feels worse than depression. I feel it after everything it seems like now. I felt it at the beginning of summer, i felt it when i had to leave my crush for vacation, i feel it because we had to leave the beach. I dunno.... i hate having the feeling that i am gonna cry at everything. What is this and how can i get over it?

You know what??? THIS feeling you're having -- is NOT a bad feeling ----- You're a sensitive, beautiful woman (*or young girl/lady) ..... these times you feel right now -- you will laugh at in a few years. When you leave your crush now and feel terrible -- this will not even matter to you in a year or so....... We have ALL had this 'empty' feeling, (I know I have many times), but you know what? It's ONLY TEMPORARY..... what I did at these times is turn it into something creative -- perhaps you should write how you feel in a journal ..... you'll be SURPRISED how GOOD and liberated you will feel after you write your feelings down (what's worrying you, what's bothering you, what you're scared of, your wishes, anything that comes to you) -- trust me -- I will not guide you wrong -- I've been there -- and just give it a try -- write stuff down -- forget about grammar, spelling, punctuation and all that madness -- just let it all "FLOW" out of you -- without even thinking -- then read it a day or two later ---- and you'll see how those things aren't as important/ critical as you originally thought.
And I say -- lay there and cry....... let it all out. Don't stop yourself from crying.......... just let it out.
You'll be over it soon :) take care.

I am probably much older than you and of the opposite gender, believe me that this can happen to any one. At one time all I wanted to do sit on the floor in the corner of my bed-room with the bed clothes over my head. The best thing was seek professional help and I would urge you to do the same. Whether it is medical, psychological or spiritual, go to someone and if they can't help, they will at least point you in the right direction. By the way I am now enjoying life to the full which I feel is my and every ones right but sometimes I feel that I had to be down there to appreciate what I have now.

Spend more time hanging out and talking with friends. Note: a friend is a person that will respect your thoughts and feelings, not laugh at or critisize your feelings. I feel for ya, its something that happens when co-dependant people are single. I too am still trying to fill the emptyness. Good luck

well u are feeling like that because u feel that something is not right in your life right now, maybe something really sad happened to u... well try to find somthing to do, like a new hobby or something that u will enjoy doing like some kind of sports to make your mind off your problem.... go out with your friends, have fun, watch a funny movie or do something that will cheer u up, its not good for your health to let go like this, u might end up having a severe depression, find an adult, someone who u trust to talk to and to share your feelings with

take care

im soo like that when i was broken hearted and a little bit up to now i do that. i feel so empty, lonely and feels like im alone. but everytime i feel that way i go to church pray or wherever i am i just pray. just listen to my fav music watch my fav movie and go to the net searching whatever i wanna search. just have a simple life. dont stress yourself so much and relax. dont be too emotionally attched with someone. do you know the song "do you realize" by the flaming lips that song helped me a lot.

i spent most of my life feeling like you do. felt no matter how hard i tried i did not fit in. I Drank to much all ways wanted to please other folks. went from job to job, relationship to relationship
was never satisfied, their was always something missing. then i found the missing peace of me was God shaped. I asked Jesus in to my heart, He has filled that hole, and i now feel WHOLE, for THE FIRST TIME IN IN OVER 50 YEARS. Jesus Loves me , nothing else can come close, give it a try you have nothing to loose, Except eternal damnation .

It sounds like you are going through a depression. Are you a teenager? It is common at that age. Please seek professional help at once.
