I know it's hard to tell a loved one NO, but you have to. Let them know that you are really straped right now, and that you wish you could help them. Maybe you could suggest that you buy them what it is that they need (IE: food, medicine) That way you know where the money went.

It sounds like a topic ...that you helped style... a pair of times would were ok, yet unfortunatly you've been an enabler. If themes are that arduous then why doesnt she look at getting a 2d pastime...(assuming she has a in many circumstances happening pastime!)? She needs to bop some checks to appreciate that you're actual no longer the monetary employer. You began some ingredient and it fairly is an unsightly effect. purely be waiting for the guilt journeys, sob recommendations, and per chance indignant outbursts... yet you're able to get exhilaration from you helped start up this mess, so dont be too speedy to stroll on water. want that helped.. I truly have a funky cousin it fairly is like that. Im her sons god mom too.

just tell them that you don't loan anyone money. I loaned a close friend alot of money and never got it back, as soon as the money bank ran dry, so did my so called friend, she left and now I don't know how to get in touch with her for my money. so I think you should not loan anyone money. I learned my lesson not to give anyone money. I loaned her over three thousand dollars between helping her pay her bills, took her always out to lunch or dinner, took her to wild adventures and paid for lunches there and parking, which she said she would pay, put her on my cell phone contract and now I am paying for it all until my contract ends this year. if I add all the money she owes me, it would be over four thousand dollars. no I am not rich, I have my own bills to pay and pray I make it to the end of the month. I sure could use the money that I loaned her

You screw up your courage and say, "No!" You should never loan money to a close family member. Don't you ever watch Judge Judy?
Appologize and tell them that you're not in a position to loan them any money. Stay firm. Don't cave. Drive them to the bank and if they can't get a loan, then tell them that that's why you won't loan them money either.

Shakespeare said "Neither a Borrower nor a Lender be." And he had the right of it. The quickest way to ruin a relationship of any kind is to borrow or lend money.

When my sons need money I just give it to them if I can afford it and if I can't I tell them I haven't got it to give at the moment. Sometimes they pay me back and sometimes they don't. Either way is fine with me since I gave it to them - not loaned it to them.

So, you can tell them you can't afford to lend them money, that if you had it you'd give it to them, but you just don't have it to lend.

simply say " Sorry. I never lend money to anyone I really care about because the possibility of having a problem with the relationship is too great and I really don't want that to happen"
