I know how you're feeling, your in need of some comfort.
It's a good thing you've found this site it will help you get the comfort, and advise you need. I am also going through a bad relationship am trying to break up with a man that's not for me b/c he doesn't know how to treat me right.
You're going to be fine, you sound like your a nice and sensitive guy. Don't let anyone change these beautiful qualities of yours. I think breakups hurt so much because we put so much of ourselves in that special person we really like, then within some time we begin to start loving them being that love is like a strong bond that is hard to break, I see it like it as a vine that grows in and around your heart slowly rooting itself deeper and deeper into our emotions the longer we're with the person the stronger the roots get, then when a bad situation happens its tears those vines right out of our hearts, which causes a great deal of pain. In order to heal we have to give ourselves time, for times heals all wounds that my metamorphic on, why do breakups have to be so painful? Be strong, and pray when it becomes hard to bear.

You're telling me. I'm still in love with a jerk that broke my heart two months ago! Breakups are very painful. Especially if you don't want one and if you don't have a reason from them of why they are putting you through it. I wish to God that I could have a word or two with him but everytime I get around him my muscles tighten up and I chicken out. After all, he should come talk to me about it because he at least owes me that much!

if they didn't hurt, no one would learn to commit or be careful. they wouldn't learn how precious other people in their lives are.
i know it hurts, i just went through something similar (but with a bf); i go through days where it's fine, the next all i can do is cry in bed listening to depressing songs on my MP3 player.
hate to say it, but time really is the only cure.
cry some. listen to depressing music. love that pint of ice cream.
you'll always remember her, so don't try to waste energy forgetting her. it would never happen.
focus on: now.
you just got through now.
and now this moment here: you got through it. look at a watch. watch those seconds tick by. you're stll alive.
congratulations :)
just keep going.

I think that breaking up with someone you loved, or at least cared about would be painful. If not then you really didn't care about them that much. You will get over it eventually, just take some time. Maybe you will find someone better anyways.

bcoz you are attached to her on a deep subconscious level. Together with physical attraction and a part of you wanting to possess her, own her in order to feel so good..... Is the love you have based on how good you feel together in terms of lust and adoration? Does it hurt so much, because it felt so good ?
I went through this too and falling in love again feels great but is so superficial.

If it hurts it ain't love - unknown

If it weren't for the low points in life, then we wouldn't be able to appreciate the highs.
Life is a roller coaster. Hold on, and things will get better, you'll see, they always do.

That's why they are called break up's. They break your heart. A new love is the cure most of the time. God bless you. You are gonna be just fine.

you are suffering because you want yourself to suffer. why don't you look on the brighter of your break up with her? having her out of your life means god gave you the opportunity to love and experience another love from another person. it was like you were born again. you have to make up your mind, live for your past or look forward to your future.
