you always gotta try. If you dont try you'll never know.
I know its hard though, often society tells us just not to even bother. Sometimes it tells us who were supposed to be with according to them. But you have to act for yourself.

It sounds like you're hopeful. This is shallow, but when I was 14-15, looks counted. But believe it or not, personality didn't lag far behind. If you're a chillled guy who doesn't look like a complete mole (not many do!) and you treat this girl like a princess, there's a chance she could become interested. So don't give up yet...charm her...good luck!

It depends on how much he wants her.
If he wants her real bad he will try all his time until he sees the writing on the wall.
If he feels there are plenty of fish in the sea he will fish for another.
