Look at Nazi Germany, they started turning in their guns because the government made them...which made them easy targets for the gas chambers and so forth...
Guns in the US are guaranteed by the Constitution...enjoy that priviliege.
Law enforcement would be exempt from any prohibition, a nice example would be England. Most there dont own a weapon, and up until recently (less than 15 years ago) not all the police there carried a firearm.
Imagine what would have happened in Lubys in Killeen if someone had been carrying a concealed handgun...someone of those many innocent victims may be alive. Guns dont kill people, people kill people. They have been doing it for years and unfortunately there is not going to be any stopping that anytime soon...but feel free to protect yourself cause you live in America...

Law enforcement would still have guns. When they speak of outlawing guns, they mean the general public. The outlaws who have no regard for the law anyway would not have any regard for a gun ban either. If you outlaw guns you will only take guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens who wish to use them for hunting, recreation, and self/home defense. Statistics have shown time and time again that states and countries that ban guns have an increase in the crime rate, never a decrease.

The statement is true...You figure it out..Law abiding citizens will do what they are supposed to do..no guns. Now the others, who could care less as to what the laws are, will have in their possession any type of weapon they can get their hands on. When the time is right, they will use them, against the law biding citizens, who can't defend themselves, because they went by the law. Lets put it this way...Law biding citizens-No guns. Outlaws/Extremists/Terrorists-Guns, Bombs, RPG's, etc..
Now you figure out if the statement is true. And as far as what LEO's would carry...LOOK AT THE NEWS, they are carrying anything and everything.
