I am looking for an alternate to second hand steel barrels for transporting waste oil in containers. I have explored flexi tanks which are too expensive for waste oil and square tanks of 1000 litres capacity. The point is the place should not get dirty while filling the oil barrels or tanks and easy unloading from the containers using forklifts or other means.

There are businesses that have waste oil tanker trucks who will pump it up into their truck and haul it away.

I hate to tell you are are sort of limited of what you can use for shipping wast oil, since it HAZ Mat and a marine pollutant. Since it is going on 20 containers there are other shipper that love to break the seal and take a look at what is in side since it is HAZ MAT and will reject the load. I am sure the rail yard, shipping line"overseas" will open this load up and check so make sure you have there "O"tay first.

I know this sort of bust your nuts thinking about the cost but the best thing to do is to just look at This as a fixed expense. If you need more help contact me privately and let me know what part of the country your are in.

One last thing since it steel barrels if it goes by rail make sure you block it right.

Good luck biting the bullet.
