That would be so awesome. Many miss the show and don't know God and sleep in past the early hour that his broadcast comes on. Who could resist his charming, bible based but everyday approach to the gospel? Like Joel would say, "I believe that if this change were to take place, many times we'd see a change sweep through this land!" Atheists.... please pick another question to respond to, my darling Sweeties. Thanks.

Joel Osteen is an awesome preacher. I think people would get so much more out of him if they got to see him more. He does a wonderful job of sharing the word of God with others. Praise the Lord!! God bless Joel Osteen.

No..this would not help the state of the USA. What would help the state of the USA is for everyone to have tolerance for each other. Everyone should love each other no matter if they are Muslims, Jews, Atheists, Christians, Buddhists, etc. If everyone everyday would just wake up and promise to themselves that they would not judge others based upon religious preference (or any other preference for that matter) then the entire world would be a better place. This Joel Osteen you are talking about is rated number one among all televangelists in the U.S. and makes more money on donations and book/CD/Video purchases than any known televangelist. This seems very strange to me to put faith in someone that has a "Buy the Video" button under all of his sermons and on the other side of the page has several "Buy the book" buttons. Reminds me of others in the past, he just is more advanced using the internet where others used 1-800 numbers in the past.

lol "my darling Sweeties"

I don't think Joel Osteen's show should be on ever. I don't think people should be told what to believe. I DO think people should decide for themselves which religion is the "right" one, if any at all. And so you know, my darling sweetie, I do believe in God, just not the same way as you or Mr Osteen. That doesn't make me an atheist, it makes me human.

Be careful taking what others tell you about God too seriously sleek.
All religion is man made it all makes the same claim that it comes from God. This claim is partially true but people can never stand to leave Gods word alone. This is because god’s word is consistent and does not mesh well with their personal preconceptions and bigoted ideas. So they make little changes here and there injecting their thoughts into the mix tainting the word with nonsense. For this reason you should not put much faith in these ideas about god that come from others. If God wants to tell you something He is perfectly capable of telling you directly.

Maybe you should stop reading what other people say about God and ask him to tell you what he wants you to do directly. Stop reading; clear you mind and listen. When you pray get you’re talking over as soon as possible and listen. He is trying to talk to you but your mind is full of nonsense from the bible and other sources. Don’t be surprised if what you hear does not sound much like what you have been told about God. You will be hearing Gods message minus the nonsense.

In your bible study have you ever heard of the small still voice? You can't hear it if your mind is otherwise occupied with other people’s silly ideas about God. Just try it you will be surprised

What do you mean by "should be shown?"

Mr. Osteen can have his program aired in any available time slot. But, he has to pay for that time slot. Prime time is far more expensive than day time, so it appears he cannot afford it, or, does not want to pay for it.

What does religion or non-religion have to do with those facts?

And, how would his show being ignored by the majority of viewers help anyone?

Not an Athiest, I do not however, believe that the likes of Mr Olstein have it right.

It sounds as if you have something of a crush on him.

If there is going to be a bable thumper on TV do you not think it should be someone different than the other wackos that are on the Boob Tube, well maybe he is a good match, a boob in a boob.
