Time really goes fastest when you're in the moment. Ever notice when you're totally involved in something, before you can blink your time is up? So, just try to focus on what's in front of you with all your might - if the subject matter is boring to you, never mind that! Wrap your thoughts around it in a different way - for instance, think "the next thing I'll hear will be the most important piece of the puzzle in my life" - or something like it. Just make it interesting for yourself... But stay in the now. Time flies in the now.

When you get to be my age, you will realize just how fast each day goes by. Your perception of the passage of time is based on the amount of data your brain has stored. As that increases, along with experiences, you will note how time appears to pass faster. It is all in your perception. Learn as much as you can. The more you learn, the shorter your days will become.

There are just going to be those days that feel as though there are 30 hours in them. There's not much you can do about it. Don't concentrate on the clock. The more you look at it, the slower it will seem to move.

Write to yourself or friends. I tend to write humorous and long notes to my friends (even if they were in different classes). Just try your hardest to not concentrate on the time. I've noticed that if you look up at the clock, the time virtually stops...and 5 minutes takes what seems like 20.

If you are that bored in school, then perhaps you should talk to your guidance counselor about being put into more advanced classes. It could be that the classes you are in aren't challenging you.

Then again, it could be that you are a typical lazy teenager who needs to pull their head out of their buttocks and start paying more attention, but I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. :)

I understand about boredom! what you should do is get involved with school activities, clubs, class just like going to a friend's house that you like and enjoy being with. Change the attitude - get started today...once you graduate...you can never go back and change things, but you can always look back and say...i did it! you'll have alot to tell your children when you become a dad..

Pay attention and try to learn something. That way the time will be passing faster and you will have lesser to study at home.
