Many think that this would be a sin, this idea is not real

Hopefully at some point they will realize how it would make them feel if the shoe were on the other foot. At this point they start to look at the action as the negativity that it is.

Then they attempt to change the behavior to something more positive.

This is the purpose of existence in the physical reality. It is a learning place where we see the results of our actions and learn to make changes for the better. Many are confused about this and see these attempts at learning as something that God is displeased with.

This is not the case at all. This is the mechanism that God intended for us to use to teach our selves the way to act properly. She is hardly going to be displeased with us for using the mechanism He provided for us.

i must say this is a thoughtful question. a thief may not be caught. if i try to disobey gravity (physical law) i get instant punishment by falling and possible injury but if i steal (moral law) the consequences may not be so obvious. however, slowly but surely, stealing leads to degredation and deterioration mentally, morally and spiritually. eventually a thief would lose his spiritual properties.

Sin, any sin causes your spirit to move further away from God. If you move too far away all you have around you in evil.. (I am speaking of the spirit NOT physical, I don't want you God haters to get the wrong idea about moving away)....Jim
