im not sure if i can agree with the story not getting much play except for with the pagans. but everthing need to be a big show for them anyways.

The "miracle birth" had to be included or pagans would have laughed (or booed) "Christianity" off the stage before it ever got started.

Ever notice how the story isn't given much play until Paul started promoting the idea to pagans?


Seriously, the "virgin birth" appears to have been added at a later time. Presumably to make the story more appealing to pagans or "Gentiles."

Any birth is a miracle. I'm just as happy with a Jesus born the old fashion way.
