There's someone I like and....?

Question

I'm really really bad at the whole 'flirting with someone I like' thing, and at 26 feel I really should have mastered these basic skills!

Anyway, there's a man I like in my local, who looks at me lots, and last night gave me a nod and kept smiling.... I'm far far too scared to go over to him, but is there something I could do to let him know I like him, (other than going over to him!) so that he will approach me?

Sorry for the rambles - I feel like a teen again!!

Go to the bar at the same time as him to buy a drink. Say something to him about anything - that you like this pub, you know one of his mates - basically whatever it doesnt matter. If he likes you he will make the effort to keep the conversation going and probably offer to buy you a drink. This is from a blokes perspective by the way.

Awww sweetie i feel for you! Okay well what you could do is maybe bring a friend along? and when she goes to buy the drinks she possibly give him a nudge " hey that girl seems keen over there why don't you go and talk to her?" that way he will know that your interested and will come over and talk to you!
Now don't be scared when he does come over, just chat nicely, if it helps laugh at what he might be saying - some guys find it attractive when a girl laughs at his jokes! Play with your hair abit, show that your interested, when your flirting it doesnt have to be anything direct, just little things, a smile is a nice one, and just try your best to keep the conversation going! even if its about the most random thing ever! he will find that cute =)

Just keep smiling back, or as tiggerronvrb said approach the bar at the same time you never know he may just buy the drink for you and start a conversation. He could be just as shy and tongue tied as you.

eye contact, and a dashing smile. if u look at some1 for more then 3 seconds without breaking eye contact then they will know that u like them! its like flirting without the scarry aproach method. when u next buy ur drink at the bar, move a little closer to the person and smile at them on the way back to ur seat! repeat as many times as nessary and soon they will approach u!good luck!

Im 26 also and i love feeling the way you do at the minute when you meet someone new. I have the confidence to go up to him though so in response to your Q, if i were you id get one of my mates to tell him or one of his mates that your into him, but get them to do it so it looks like you dont know theyv done it. (Oh to be a teenager again haha). Once he recieves this news and theyv also told him that you're too shy to go up to him, he should come to you, (if he really does like you). Good luck xx

You could try buying him a drink & getting the barmaid to take it over? Or wait until you know he is watching,Walk off to the loo, dropping something on the floor as you go (make sure its not of value, incase you dont get it back) He could be waiting for a excuse to meet you?
