Your question is ambiguous. Do you mean "What are the expectations that an employer has of a new employee?" Well put yourself in the employer's position. What would you want?

Honest day's work for an honest day's pay.
Punctuality (both sign on and sign off).
Appropriate dress.
Good customer relations.
Integrity.
Appropriate attitude toward other employees (supervisory and co workers).

If an employer is employing you he has to pay you, pay insurance etc for you, and make a profit. He isn't emoloying you to be a philanthropist. Help him make his profit with no loss and you will be sweet.
