Considering he's 64 and he's brisk walking and not snail walking, I'd say most definitely. Just make sure he has good rest.

Enough sure. But can you do more? I don't see why you cannot do more if you want to do more. I know men in their 70's who walk everywhere adding up to much more than 30mins every day. After your brisk walking; why not slow it down a bit and enjoy what you are seeing.

Depends on your personal health and fitness. While that may be enough for you personally, it may be too much for another or not enough for someone else. Talk to your Doctor about how much exercise and intensity you should be able to handle.

I,m in my early 50's and that i generally spend approximately an hour or 2 going out for a walk (walk) for one it facilitates think of. 2 i don't have transportation to get me from factor (A) to show (B) so as a result I place self belief in my legs to get me there. At 64,thats good enough.The joints cant handle much more when you get older.
