I'm on a 2,000 calorie per day diet. I do cardio and lift weights. I worry that my low-cal diet is lowering my metabolism, and thus keeping me from losing weight. I feel tired a lot of the time, so that's why I'm worried. Does anyone know a time-tested and proven way to get the metabolism up? I'd love to know.
Thanks

try eating smaller meals more times a day, instead of eating 3 "big" meals with a couple snacks. try6-8 meals daily, this should boost your metabolism, since your body is constantly having to burn calories to break down the food, but not working overtime for awhile and then stopping until the next "big" meal.
