I'm nearly 60 and do not recall having any such crisis.

Your crisis is probably related to the fact women sexually peak during their early to mid 30's and it causes some to engage in behavior usually considered inappropriate.

I've literally known thousands of people and cannot recall any such pattern amongst the people I've known. But, if I was careful about choosing, I'm sure I could find a few that had problems at that age. But, I don't believe there is a correlation to any supernatural occurrences or biblical events.

Makes sense... All of a sudden they get treated different ie few brithdays and everyone is coupled up and they are on their own and its impossible to make new friends...

Their music cultures fall away or they are seen as old or pervey or other crap for hanging out in the places that were their second homes...

jobs hard to find if a career has not been formed already...

Cant do this or that as considered old but those your age see you as immature...

Are you trying to tie life crisis to the age that Christ died? Well, for me, no. I had a legal separation from by wife of 39 years; a near fatal heart attack and by-pass open heart surgery all at the age of 68.

I was 46. Life was great. Sudden death/Trauma close to me and I felt like I was face down in **** - for nearly 2 years - living and working on the surface but worried and gasping to breateh. Recurring guilt made me question whether I had any right to be alive. I went crazy - esp to my partner. She didn't understand - but neither did I. Gradually after a long time it faded - but the damage I did in my berserk and hurtful mental collapse remains. I'm ok now but have learned a lesson - even an easy-going and good enough fella like me can have the mat suddenly disappear from under his feet and be left grasping to live.

It is called middle class angst......This idea that we have work hard at School and all the way through University. With people tell us that we will achieved greatness and by the time we are in our thirties maybe we don't like were we are. Job wise, relationship, etc....It is just something we have to go through in this modern world.
The interesting thing for the west, is that we are in the longest period of peace in recorded history. This throws up some interesting situations in our time....

It usually happens about then, but not to everybody. The men buy a motorbike and get a young G/F, the women start psychotherapy training and wearing leather trousers. The women are the worst.

My big crisis came at 41. I lost my job, I lost my way, I went through quite a bit of soul-searching. 33 is way too young! You're in your prime in your thirties.
