Does anyone out there know the lyrics for the 1st verse of "Daisy..Daisy Give Me Your Answer....?" I think it ends like "On a bicycle made for two" My friends mother in New York has Altzimers and i met her last night through the web-cam. It's hard to know what to say cos she doesn't know me but i just want to make her smile and relieve some of the burden off of my friend who's having a real rough time with her. She's unable to wash/feed/or even walk herself and needs 24hr care. My friends at his lowest with her ,so when i call i want him to be able to go do other things and leave me and Daisy to chat....this is why i need the song lyrics..i just want to sing her the song. She doesn't know me, she won't remeber me but if i sing to her maybe she will remember some of the lyrics and play them back in her mind. This is just a little gift from me to her. If anyone out there knows then PLEASE let me know. Thank you guys.

There is a flower within my heart,
Daisy, Daisy!
Planted one day by a glancing dart,
Planted by Daisy Bell!
Whether she loves me or loves me not,
Sometimes it's hard to tell;
Yet I am longing to share the lot
Of beautiful Daisy Bell!

Chorus:
Daisy Daisy,
Give me your answer do!
I'm half crazy,
All for the love of you!
It won't be a stylish marriage,
I can't afford a carriage,
But you'll look sweet on the seat
Of a bicycle built for two !

We will go "tandem" as man and wife,
Daisy, Daisy!
Ped'ling away down the road of life,
I and my Daisy Bell!
When the road's dark we can despise
P'liceman and lamps as well;
There are bright lights in the dazzling eyes
Of beautiful Daisy Bell!
Chorus:

I will stand by you in "wheel" or woe,
Daisy, Daisy!
You'll be the bell(e) which I'll ring, you know!
Sweet little Daisy Bell!
You'll take the lead in each trip we take,
Then if I don't do well;
I will permit you to use the brake,
My beautiful Daisy Bell!!!
Chorus:

Daisy, Daisy,
Give me your answer do
I'm half crazy,
All for the love of you
It won't be a stylish marriage
I can't afford a carriage
But you'll look sweet
Upon the seat
Of a bicycle built for two

Michael, Michael
Here is your answer true.
I'll not cycle
Over the world with you.
If you can't afford a carriage,
There won't be any marriage.
