Only if it's a man-man relationship. Both people should be in charge of a relationship. It is a mutual thing, not a place for one sex to control.

It should be a partnership in the relationship. Because if the whole relationship is sat on the guy, he might see it as too stressful and end up cheating and then breaking up with you. But for some guys they like the having all the control. Which isn't good for the girl either because she could probably feel stressed out and pissed off that she doesn't have a say in anything. So its always best to work 50/50 in everything.

heh! I don't think a relationship should be controlled in anyway. It should be mutual and agree on whatever together. Now if the boyfriend wants to take charge he can but that'll require a wedding ring and even than he won't take control all the way.

Not with everything. One has to be fair. Certain things women are better, while men are better in other areas.

Say for instance, I have this feeling that women are better in educating children and may be also household budgets. But that does not mean that men cannot do a better job.

Also most women claimed that they are better cooks - but there are more male chefs at restaurants and hawker/food centres.

With some things maybe, but not everything. Most decisions should be agreed upon by both. Men are the protectors and women are the balancers.

Yes I do, the man should take the lead, however he should be mature and wise if that's going to happen, but the woman also needs to participate and not act indifferent towards his decisions or suggestions, nor there should be a lack of interest, or apathy.

No, relationships are a give and take, there will be moments when he has control, and moments when you need to take control, if you allow him to dominate your relationship, he won't respect you. How many rulers do you know that have a healthy respect for there subjects?

no, it should be completely equal, the point of a relationship is to share and do things together, it should not be dominant on either side

That's the way a lot of mine have been but I prefer to share a relationship with my partner.

I don't have a problem letting a woman have her way when she feels strongly about something...
