Vir, there are over 1 million words in the Oxford English Dictionary. Some people say that actually, there are 10 million words in English. English steals words from every other language. NO ONE will know all the words in a dictionary (and those not in a dictionary), no one. Ph.D. level people may know 100,000 words. English experts may know 200,000.

Only some highly focused neurotic would know every word. And hopefully no one has a life so shallow that they have enough time to pursue this as a goal.
