Hi! I'm Romanian and a multiluingual translation.

Well in Romania we have a lot of well known Christian names which have their equivalents in a lot of languages.(Ion, Gheorghe, Petre, Paul, Stefan (boys),Maria, Ioana, Elisabeta, Teodora (girls). I don't think "Felipe" "represents Spain, since it's "Philip", "Philippe", "Filippo", "Filip" elsewhere.
But here are some uniquely Romanian names, not to be found elsewhere. Some may have Slavic origins, but the Slavs don't have them as such:
(If an "a" is appended to the name" it means that you can make a female name by adding an "a"
BOYS:
Alin(a)=comes from a verb meaning "to soothe, comfort"
Bucur
Decebal
Dragos
Florin (comes from "floare"=flower)
Florea (idem)
Horea/Horia
Mugur
Radu
Razvan
Sorin(a)=comes from "soare"=sun
Viorel
Vlad

GIRLS:
Adina
Lacramioara (means "little tear";also the name of a flower)
Luminita (means "tiny light)
Sanziana=means "born on the night of St.John's"
Viorica=the name of a flower.
