There is noggin.com nickjr.com pbskids.org
Most of the games on nickjr will speak the instructions as some 6 year olds are just learning how to read. These are all sites that are for young children and easy to navigate.

I am going to add one more to the already long list. www.powerpets.com. she can adopt a virtual pet, and earn points to look after the pet by playing games online. try it out it is entertaining as well as educational. since it teaches about animals, birds etc.

Cartoon network - either uk or com (American). They have different games.

Failing that, Warner Brothers is pretty good - lots of Harry Potter and Scooby Doo etc.
