Go to your local Walgreens and look at (or buy) some of their hairstyle magazines... They have a ton and it helped me out when I wanted to change my hair.

I suggest that you get either a rinse that washes out, or a semi-permanent hair color that washes out in 28 shampoos.
Do not do anything that will be permanent until you are sure that you will like it.
Go to a wig store and put the wigs up to your face, but do not try them on( Not sanitary).
If you are thinking of getting a perm, I suggest a water perm. The curls wash out the next time you shampoo.

Chunk your hair. Take like 2 or 3 sections of hair and bleach them blonde. It's not highlights b/c highlights lightens your hair all over. They sell the Chunking kits at Wal-Mart. The few pieces of blonde will really set your dark hair off. I used to have my hair like this and people complimented me all the time on it.

if your the kinda girl that is simple with hair,here is an idea,if you want a regukar ponytail,fine put it on,but why not,make the srunchy look pretty,in store's they have cute srunchy you can put on to show off,what kind of mood or style you are into! i always,i have srunchy in my shopping bag!

try coloring your hair a shade of red. it will make your skin glow. just try not to go too bright your first time

if you have a deep tan go black with lots of eye make up and tightish curls.

if ur hair is very dark ,ake it lighter (veeeeery light brown) n if its already light, high light it..
