i am in the market for a new car and i really like music but i dont want to pay a lot for a good system so i would like to know which has the best base system.

None. No stock car for any amount of money will have a decent stereo in it. For a nice stereo you have to go out and buy one. For justa couple hundred bucks (less than premium stereo upgrade for the new car), you can have a very good sounding stereo.
edit: To the person who said about GM because of bose. Never talk about audio equiptment again. Bose makes TERRIBLE audio equiptment. Go read a real enthusiast site like www.audioholics.com and see what they have to say about bose.

do some research on it...I know acura's and tiburons have real good sound in them....also, are you really considering buying a car based on it's system?! you're a bit looney, but yeah, check those out
ps-how about....what new car under 25000 has the best gas mileage or reliability or crash rating or etc......?

id have to say look for a car with good gas mileage
you could get a decent aftermarket stereo for 300-400 hundred
while saving that on gas in the long run
