for all god`s affairs, all he does, is he sais BE and it is.( from the holy quran)
that simple he forgive the sin of those he want, and they are people who submit to god`s will, and repent of their sins, and they dont follow their desires instead of what god said.
ofcourse they will not become perfect humans and without any error and comepletely sinless.
but god KNOWS those people who sincerely come to him and TRY to be righteous as much as they can, and those who submit to his will instead their desires.he is all knowing.
( one of the meanings of islam is submission to one god)

all the copies of quran in arabic(old and new) are exactly same. not a word diferent.
quran is literaly the word of god, its not prophet mohammads writings and god promised to protect it
and there are lots of miracles like mathematical miracle and..... in it

the thing that you said is not a problem,
allah said everyone who beleive and worship one god and dont associate other with god for worshiping and do righteous things and submit to god's will, will get to heaven.
ok and only god knows who do these things sincerely and he tests us alot.
so just being imam or ... doesnt make you go to heaven(your name or appearance or your rank is not important) god look in your heart if it is sincere and if you submit to his will(and did what you could) he will forgive your sins and let you to heaven.
and he will judge us ,he is the best judge
and there are different levels in heaven ,
the better sevent you be for god and more sincere you be , you will get a better place(closer to god) in heaven.

no god wont forgive you if you abuse the other people , if you take sb right away god wont forgiove you unless you give back his right and ask for forgiveness from that person.
it`s called people`s right , and god wont forgive that right unless you make it up for that person and that person forgives you.
otherwise you will see the consiquences

I am a muslim, if we want Allah to forgive our sins, we must regret of our sins seriously and sincerely, and we must promise that we'll not do our mistakes again. that's not easy, but we must try with honest heart. Allah really love His followers....

One problem in Islam the choice is up to God at that moment how much good is enough. what if there was something you did - you did not think was a big deal but really pissed God off try getting in with him pissed at you. the Koran says he will let in who he will and no man can know for God does what he will. Mullah my not get in and some one else far less good gets in because it pleased God to do it. Look it up there is no guarantee unless you die in Jihad. doing good things increases your odds but no guarantee.
I think you are right though be a good Muslim .... ei submit to the one and only God '.
But it misses one thing we were once slaves - yes - we were slaves to death if we do not serve God we serve sin. Until a man is capable of choosing to follow God he is subject to serve sin and death. God however paid the price to redeem us from slavery. If we are willing to let him redeem us we loose the label of slave and become free in God. Not to do evil - no that is like putting chains on again. we are free to access God to draw closer to him. That is why Christians use the term father for God. Because though, in no way do we deserve it, we can come to him and he will be there, as if he is an adopted father.

As a human being I do not believe in the classic form of a god. I think it only takes common sense and reason to live a decent life and frankly, I don't think god really cares what we do. We give ourselves far too much importance by thinking god sits around worrying about the things we get up to. I imagine a god has better things to do.

as a christian I also believe God will forgive the sin of those who believe and trust the will of God . The Word of God is the Truth.
As a Christian I love those who love and seek God. The children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I am learning Muslims seek and love God and hold the word of God in there hearts and minds.
Peace to all.
All Knowing One God of all Abraham, Isaac and Jacob

Changes in the koran/quran they say did not happen:
http://answering-islam.org/Quran/Text/index.html
Original sin- How can someone believe that man is anywhere worthy of going to Heaven simply by being a human being and God's infinite power to forgive sin? Of course God can forgive all sin, there is no question in that. He made man perfect, and man fell from grace by sinning. Adam turned his back on God, and you expect God to simply just forgive? Man CHOSE to sin and continues to CHOOSE to sin. That being the case, God made it where we can CHOOSE to either continue being a sinner or to accept salvation. No-one is worthy of gaining access to Heaven except through the cleansing blood of Jesus.
Atonement- Adam asked forgiveness and it was so? No-one disputes that, no-one disputes that anyone can be forgiven of sin, the problem is that God and Heaven are perfection. There is no room for anything short of perfection. We can be forgiven, but that means we have sinned, which right there makes us imperfect. On Judgement Day, even if you prayed for forgiveness as you die and are forgiven, you are still imperfect because although you are forgiven of sin, you are imperfect in God's eyes because you HAVE sinned. To be perfect, you would have to have NEVER sinned. On Judgement Day, those that are saved will be washed with the pure blood of Jesus, and that is what will be seen, that perfect blood of Jesus. It is one thing to be forgiven, it is something totally different to be made perfect in the eyes of God to gain admittance to Heaven.

In John it tells us that what we have to do to be saved is believe that Jesus is the SON of GOD and repent of our sins. Now once we repent we must study Gods word...The Bible. We need to associate with other Christians as this will help us to grow stronger in God. And you are right that we will not be perfect. There was only one perfect man ever born and that was Jesus Christ..They crucified him. We will NEVER be perfect. That's why we need to go to God every day in the name of his SON JESUS CHRIST and ask him to forgive us our sins because you can bet we didn't make it all day with out some measure of sin. It may have been just a bad thought or maybe we listened to a dirty joke. We can't be too careful when it comes to keeping our life straight with GOD.

Then why do islamic people follow the word of Muhumed so closely? It seems he is more important to some than the word of God.
I am really starting to question the whole concept of God given the current wars in the mideast. Who is right ? who is wrong?

The koran is even more nonsensical than the bible.
This business of forgiveness of sin is a green light to every criminal in the world. Only the victims can forgive.

What is god's will? Everyone in the world is following "god's will" and spend their time killing each other. If suicide bombers and genocidal tribesmen are god's will I'll take a pass. I'll wait for a burning talking bush and frankly I had better be able to roast a hot dog on it before I'll listen.

I agree with you to a certain extent. I believe God does forgive those who truly repent. He is a loving God. He wants us to follow Him and live righteously. He celebrates our successes and mourns with us when we fall. He knows that we can live our lives in compliance with His will. This is in us, but He knows as humans we are tempted. This earth life is for us to prepare to meet Him. To be tested, to gain knowledge, and when the time comes be prepared to live with Him again forever. Who knew, Muslims and Mormons...not so different after all???
