because i was talking to this guy and i was saying things about another guy and he got really pissy

Once a girl talks about other guys, we men are automatically put into the "friend zone". To us guys every girl we're spending time with is a potential girl friend. Therefore a female friend is higher maintenance than a girl friend. Guys don't want to hear how the new guy in your life broke your heart or that you think all men are pigs. Because it ends up being you always picking the bad boy player and your friend being the nice supportive guy wondering how you havn't waken up and chose him.
If you really want a guy friend, make sure he's gay.

Guys don't like when we talk about other guys simply because they are all territorial and protective. Also the big Jealousy card and envy is always being played. But I don't pay any attention to it. I mean its not like he is your bf or something. And its just another guy in general you talking about.

Anger generally arises when one is not able to accept the truth. I think a guys generally like to think about his girl that to her, he is the most adorable thing in the world far from any other male she has met...and when you dont often talk about his qualities to him and instead talk about someone elses qualities he wonders if his imagination is not true. You can check by often talking to him about his own qualities that you like and that which you find really impressive. Then when you talk about someone else, he is not likely to get that angry.

The male ego can be as big as a lion but as fragile as a butterfly, or in simple English, their insecure.
Women can be just as insecure at times, but the male insecurity is more deep rooted.
It all start 40million years ago, when we where still in the trees. Every male instinctively wanted to be the alpha male, and would chase other males away or fight them.
These days that instinct still remains, and kicks in at the mention of any other male name. (Bunch of cavemen!)

It is an insecurity thing. Women sometimes hate it when their guy talk to other women. They are afraid that it is more than just talking to the opposite sex. It doesn't matter who they talk to as long as they come back.

NEVER talk about the x.. my two best friends r going out.. and my friend talks about her x all the time to my friend steve. he gets annoyed n its ruining the relationship so whatever u do... DO NOT MAKE A MISTAKE.. you may bring up things that were good left alone.

Surely they're thinking, there's gotta be a more intelligent conversation in her head! What's happening in the world today, how to achieve peace in our lifetime, how to cure diseases, feed the hungry.....and she's talking about her ex..

if he doesnt really know this guy you talking about...he might be
a) jealous
b) insecure that you might have an interest in another guy while still with him...
c) ego. he wants his girl to be his and only his. look good to his ego, man!
