so iam 16 and a junior in hs
and there is this girl that is supposed 2 be a freshman
but is in eight grade
would this be weird
is the gap to wide

The gap is a bit wide if she is still in 8th grade. It's not so much her age, because it wouldn't be bad if she was in 9th. It is more her experiences and maturity that I'd be concerned about. You are in a world of college applications or career decisions and training. She is in school with kids who just barely gave up playing with Barbie in public.

if my sister was in the 8th grade and you were her bf ..i would kick your ***..find someone your own age. My brother was 12 and dating a 15 year old. i told her i was going to kick her *** ( they all lived in another town ) ... they broke up like a week later. Just find someone your own age or at least in high school. good luck!

Yes, it's weird. High school guys with middle school girls is weird. Find someone at least in high school.
